Here is Sweet E and her special present that she got for sending her binkies to Baby L! She decided that she wanted this cute little dancing bear, and when she went to name it low and behold she named it "Baby L, " after her sweet little baby cousin who just inherited her collection of binkies!! Sweet E loves the little teddy to pieces, just as she does her cousin.For those curious Sweet E did EXTREMELY well adjusting to life without binkies. We really lucked out. Whenever she would ask for one we just reminded her that she sent them away, and she would smile and say "Oh Ok." She wakes up a little more at night....but usually you just have to hand her her doll and she is fine. So I am extremely grateful for how easy that was....Mr. C was MUCH worse!! Now I just need to muster up the courage/guts to start potty training Sweet E....she is ready....but I am not sure I am :-P

Aunt E was eager to call Sweet E to tell her that Baby L was happy she sent her binkies to her. As she picked up the phone, Uncle M said, "Calling to rip the scab off the wound?" and apparently, Sweet E cried when the "b" word was mentioned. Oops! So much for good manners!
